Description
The foundation of Traxstech's Ultimate Fishing System is its anodized aluminum mounting tracks with a grooved interior design. Once installed, our mounting track system for boats allows rod holders, downriggers, and other marine electronics to be easily slid into the track. Once in place, the star-shaped thumb screws just need to be tightened to secure any accessories in place. When you are not fishing, just slide your fishing equipment out of the mounting track and replace it with our starboard sheet track insert.
Mounting Track Width: 3 1/2"
Mounting Track Lengths: 6-inch, 12-inch, 18-inch, 24-inch, 36-inch, 48-inch, 60-inch, and 72 inches.
MT-60 and MT-72 Track additional feature: The cut-out in the center of these tracks serves a convenient purpose by providing an access point for easily inserting or removing accessories at the middle of the track. This design feature can save time and effort by not requiring users to slide accessories through the entire length of the track to make adjustments or add/remove items.
Additionally, there are holes in the cut-out area that can be used to install end caps. These end caps serve multiple functions:
- Security: They help in securing the accessories within the track by preventing them from accidentally sliding out.
- Protection: End caps can protect the edges of the cut-out area, preventing any damage or wear and tear that might occur over time.
- Aesthetics: End caps can also give a more finished appearance to the track system.
Q. I am installing Traxstech tracks to my fiberglass Ranger boat and have no access to use the standard installation hardware. Can I have the standard install hardware switched to self-tappers?
A. Yes! Just add a note on the order that you need us to swap out the standard installation hardware to self-tappers.
Q. What length/size of the mounting track should I mount on my boat?
A. The track is the least expensive item and it is easier to mount one longer track, rather than adding it in smaller sections down the road. i.e. If you want to add another rod holder, net holder or adjustable cleat, with the longer track you are already set up for it. Just slide it in and go.
Q. Do the mounting tracks come with hardware to install them?
A. Yes. They come with stainless steel 1-3/4" long screws with lock washers, fender washers, and nuts. If you need rivets or self-tappers to install our tracks, just note on your order that you need us to swap them out.
Q. Is the price for two mounting tracks? Or one?
A. The price is for one track.
Q. Does Traxstech include end caps with the purchase of its mounting tracks?
A. No. Mounting track endcaps are sold separately. You can purchase them here.
Q. How many T-Bolt mount brackets do I need for my Traxstech mounting track?
A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of a track you are trying to mount using our T-bolt brackets will determine how many sets you will need to purchase.

Q. How many rail mount clamps do I need for my Traxstech mounting track?
A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of a track you are trying to mount using our Rail Mount Clamps will determine how many sets you will need to purchase.

A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of a track you are trying to mount using our ACB-250 will determine how many sets you will need to purchase.

*** Note ***The longer the track the more it spreads out the weight and torque that may occur with heavier or multiple items on the track with the ACB-250 system. It also means you may not need to have the ACB-250 bracket at every mounting hole on the track.
Q. What is the minimum length of the track I can use to install my vertical trees on my boat?
A. We recommend using a 24" section of track or longer. The longer the track, the more strength and stability you will have. Using a shorter length of track increases your odds of having equipment failure and loss.
Q. Do you sell an installation kit to assist in installing track to a Ranger boat?
A. Yes, we have an installation kit that can be found here.
Q. What is the minimum length of the track I can use to install downriggers on my boat?
A. We recommend using a 24" section of track or longer. The longer the track, the more strength and stability you will have. Using a shorter length of track increases your odds of having equipment failure and loss. For downriggers, we recommend installing the track directly to the boat's gunwale.
Q. How many backer plates do I need for my Traxstech mounting track?
A. If you are installing a 6", 12", 18", 24" or 36" track you need to order just one backing plate in the corresponding size. If you are installing anything over 36" and wish to use a backing plate as well you must order the 3" backing plate - (Part: #3-BP). The other size backing plates will not line up properly with the mounting holes on your tracks.
