Description
Traxstech Vertical Rod Trees
Built for Maximum Spread, Control & Efficiency
Traxstech’s Vertical Rod Trees are engineered for anglers who demand a clean, organized, high‑performance trolling setup. Available in 2-, 3-, or 4‑rod configurations, each tree slides directly into any Traxstech mounting track to create the ultimate rod‑management system for in‑line planer boards, lead core, copper, or long‑line programs.
Now Available in Port or Starboard Models
Our updated Vertical Rod Trees now come in dedicated Port (left) and Starboard (right) versions for optimal rod‑tip orientation and spread.
New Part Numbers:
- VBT-2PORT – 2‑Rod Tree, Port
- VBT-2STAR – 2‑Rod Tree, Starboard
- VBT-3PORT – 3‑Rod Tree, Port
- VBT-3STAR – 3‑Rod Tree, Starboard
- VBT-4PORT – 4‑Rod Tree, Port
- VBT-4STAR – 4‑Rod Tree, Starboard
Easily Switch Between Port & Starboard
Need to change sides later? No problem.
Each tree can be converted by:
- Removing the top black cap (secured with three screws).
- Accessing the individual rod holders (Part # VBT‑10).
- Loosening the two Allen screws on each holder.
- Sliding and rotating the holders to the opposite orientation.
This same access point also allows you to:
- Replace any VBT‑10 rod holder
- Add Beverage Holders (BH‑100V, BH‑450V)
- Add a Tool Holder (TH‑100V)
- Mount a Planer Board Caddy (PBC‑250, PBC‑350, PBC‑450)
Performance‑Driven Adjustability
Our exclusive lift‑and‑rotate post design gives each rod holder independent adjustability, with six locking positions across a 90° range. This maximizes rod‑tip spread, improves turn control, and keeps lines running clean and tangle‑free.
Mounting the tree as far forward as possible opens the entire gunwale for board rods, divers, and corner downriggers—leaving the transom wide open for netting fish and resetting baits. In tight spaces, anglers often run planer boards on the upper holders and a diver rod on the bottom, making this system incredibly versatile.
