How to get started with Traxstech

Install The Ultimate Fishing System in Three Easy Steps
You bought the boat, now it’s time to make it your own. And with so many mounting methods, any boat can become The Ultimate Fishing System. Set yourself up for success by following the three steps outlined below.

Six Track Mounting Methods

Traxstech offers six different ways to install its ultimate fishing system including direct mounting, T-Bolt Brackets, Gunwale Clamps for Alumacraft® Boats, Rail Clamps, Gimbal Mounts and Narrow Gunwale Clamps. Take a look at the brief descriptions below to determine which method is right for your boat, then click on the link to start shopping.

Method 1: Direct Mounting

The first, and most common, way to install our fishing system is by directly mounting a section of track to the boat. This is the preferred method! If your boat has a T-slot/accessory channel, you can look at the other options listed.

Method 2: T-Bolt Brackets

The T-Bolt Bracket installation method is our second most versatile option. Our brackets come in a variety of angles including 45°, 50°, 58° and 90° and attach directly to the gunwale wall of most varieties of boats on the market today.

Method 3: Gunwale Clamps for Alumacraft® Boats

These clamps are made exclusively for Alumacraft brand boats. So if you are planning on installing our track on any of Alumacraft’s fish and sport or multi-series boats with the Alumatrac® system, these are the clamps for you.

Method 4: Rail Clamps

These rail clamps are designed to allow the attachment of our track on a round rail or square pontoon tube. So if you don’t have a traditional gunwale wall, these clamps may be the solution for you.

Method 5: Gimbal Mounts

These gimbal mounts are designed for use with boats that have flush mount rod holders already installed into the boat. We offer different angles and configurations to help get the most from your boat’s existing design.

Method 6: Narrow Gunwale Clamps

These gunwale clamps are designed specifically for boats that have a narrow 2-1/4” gunwale. So if you have a Lowe or Polar Kraft brand boat or any other small craft, these clamps can work as a strong, flexible solution.
