The Ultimate Fishing System in Three Easy Steps

You bought the boat, now it’s time to make it your own. And with so many mounting methods, any boat can become The Ultimate Fishing System. Set yourself up for fishing success by following the three steps outlined below.

Step 1: Choose A Track Mounting Method

Before you transform your boat, you must determine the best way to install our fishing system. We offer six different track mounting methods including:

Before moving forward, take a look at the brief descriptions below to determine which is the right method for you.

Six Track Mounting Methods

Method 1: Direct Mounting

The first, and most common, way to install Traxstech’s fishing system is by directly mounting a section of track to the boat. This is the preferred method! If your boat has a T-slot/accessory channel, you can look at one of our other bracket mounting methods below.

Method 2: T-Bolt Brackets

The T-Bolt Bracket installation method is our second most versatile option. Our brackets come in a variety of angles including 45°, 50°, 58° and 90° and attach directly to the gunwale wall of most varieties of boats on the market today.

Method 3: Gunwale Clamps for Alumacraft® Boats

These clamps are made exclusively for Alumacraft brand boats. So if you are planning on installing our track on any of Alumacraft’s fish and sport or multi-series boats with the Alumatrac® system, these are the clamps for you.

Method 4: Rail Clamps

These rail clamps are designed to allow the attachment of our track on a round rail or square pontoon tube. So if you don’t have a traditional gunwale wall, these clamps may be the solution for you.

Method 5: Gimbal Mounts

These gimbal mounts are designed for use with boats that have flush mount rod holders already installed into the boat. We offer different angles and configurations to help get the most from your boat’s existing design.

Method 6: Narrow Gunwale Clamps

These gunwale clamps are designed specifically for boats that have a narrow 2-1/4” gunwale. So if you have a Lowe or Polar Kraft brand boat or any other small craft, these clamps can work as a strong, flexible solution

Step 2: Select and Install the Track

Once you know the correct way to install your track, it’s time to select and install the right length for your boat. Need help deciding? View our product page for more product information and selection tips.

Mounting Track

Once you’ve chosen the correct mounting method for your boat, it’s time to pick out a piece of track. These anodized aluminum mounting tracks with grooved interior design are the foundation of our Ultimate Fishing System, and our top selling product. Once installed, these tracks are easily customizable by just sliding in any of our accessories.

Step 3: Make it Your Own

Once your track is installed, let the fun begin! Search through the rest of our product catalog to pick and choose from our line of rod holders, downriggers, electronics mounts, and more. Then, get ready to show off your ultimate setup by tagging us with #theultimatefishingsystem.
